In August 2004, Different Avenues, Inc, moved to our new location at 821 Upshur St NW, Suite B. The entrance to our office and drop-in center is located in the back of the building. Our new phone numbers are 202.829.2103 for voice, and 202.829.2104 for Fax. If you forget, you can call the old number and listen to the message that will tell you our new number!
We miss our Rhode Island Ave NE home, and all our neighbors and friends there. However, we hope this move will be for the best, as it will allow us to expand and grow. The space will feature a new Drop-In Center, that is full of sun-light, and new offices, all of which will be quite spacious. After a temporary transition time, we look forward to being fully moved-in to our new home.
The location is only a few blocks from Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro Station (on the Green Line), and half a block from a bus stop of the 70/71 Metrobus Line. Click here for Metro directions.
