Kelli Dorsey Executive Director Kelli Dorsey came to Different Avenues after working with The Alliance for a Safe and Diverse DC. She is a black queer woman who brings a background of community organizing for the rights of women of color, transgender people, and people who are or have been incarcerated. While working in the harm reduction field she has been an advocate for sex workers, drug users, and homeless people in Boston and Washington DC.
Skytrinia Berkeley Peer Advocate Skytrinia does outreach in exotic dance clubs where she talks with women about organizing for their rights and improving working conditions. She played a key role in coordinating the community based research on policing practices in the Washington DC area, along with the the National Sex Worker Leadership Training. Skytrinia is a powerful voice in the national sex worker rights movement.
Terra Smith Online Peer Educator Terra is an advocate for transgender and other LGB youth issues. She has worked on LGBT youth and HIV issues since high school and brings her enthusiasm to the project.
